The Hamburg label puts out the bunting for its big 1-0.

Dekorder has announced it will release a limited edition bundle of vinyl from the prolific sound explorer Leyland Kirby (pictured), the cobwebby electronics of Pye Corner Audio and former Spacemen 3 member Sonic Boom.

Described as hybrid-vinyl picture discs, the records will have 15-20 minutes of audio cut into the black vinyl side only to preserve audio quality. The label plans to do runs of 300 to 500 copies, and say there will be “no re-press. Ever.”

As well as the names listed below, a further handful of contributors will be announced later in the year. You can put your name down for the first 10 releases for a total of €150 (including all shipping costs).

The first release, by Pye Corner Audio, will be shipped in a few days, while future volumes will come in three bundles of three records each over the next few months – visit the website for details. [via The Wire]
