Girl Unit to release EP of industrial grit on Night Slugs offshoot Club Constructions
The ‘Wut’ producer gets mechanical for the first release under his Hysterics moniker.
Night Slugs mainstay Girl Unit will put out a three-track EP on the label’s recently launched Club Constructions offshoot on 9 July.
Club Constructions has already released material from Night Slugs regulars L-Vis 1990, Lil Silva and Helix, and this latest offering sees Girl Unit joining the growing ranks of UK producers exploring the grittier end of techno. Lead track ‘Pleasuredrome’ is a slab of violent, sharp-edged industrial music that just so happens to have its heart firmly in the middle of the dancefloor. [via JunoPlus]
