Lothian just got a little more cosmic.
A collection of live and backstage photographs, LP cover art and other ephemera documenting the music of space-obsessed spiritual jazz deity Sun Ra and his Arkestra will go on show in Edinburgh in August.
Jazz photographer and writer Val Wilmer and Rolling Stone photographer Baron Wolman have both contributed work to The Immeasurable Equation exhibition, which is located in The Attic Lounge inside the Summerhall Arts venue.
Visitors are invited to lounge around in the space and vibe out to the music of Sun Ra while browsing the collection, which opens from 2 to 27 August. Information can be found on the Summerhall website. [via The Wire]
