Veteran soul singer Charlie Wilson and Kanye West‘s fruitful relationship started back in 2011 when West was piecing together My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Wilson contributed his unmistakable vocals to a number of tracks (including massive hits ‘All of the Lights’ and ‘Monster’) and was recently asked back to lay down a part on Yeezus standout ‘Bound 2’, and it seems that the relationship is going to continue on Wilson’s own next album.

Speaking to MTV News, Wilson said that the two had “started already,” adding “Kanye is one of the greatest rapper/produces that we have. He’s a little controversial, yeah, but he’s still a genius at that in the studio. He wants to produce me, so we’ll see how that goes. He’s been asking for a while and I’ve just been busy.”

Kanye getting behind the desk again is an exciting prospect, let’s just hope the record actually emerges some time soon – Kanye’s going to be busy at least for the rest of 2013, with a mammoth North American tour (with Kendrick Lamar no less) that has just been expanded to include dates in Montreal, DC, Philly, Atlanta and more.
