FaltyDL pulls an Ursula Bogner on a new free-to-download EP.

The always-on Drew Lustman has made the most of 2013: thus far, we’ve had some high-profile touring work with James Blake, a full-length for Ninja Tune, and a wild new single for Swamp81, all of which have taken his pretty, woozy brand of UK garage and house into worthwhile new places.

Taking to Twitter, the Blueberry Records boss has introduced a new alias, Donna Chambray Loren, and given away an EP to toast her creation. 20K Solid Gold features five new tracks from the producer, ranging from the surging ambient garage cut ‘Christ’ to the filtered boogie-funk of ‘Fly Race’. ‘Big Boy Hold Your Hands’ boasts a less-than-subtle Kraftwerk rip, too – probably a key reason why the EP’s been snuck out as a freebie.

Update: For what it’s worth, Lustman claims that he is not Donna Chambray Loren. “I am not exactly Donna Chambray,” he tweets. “Better to give away Donnas Ep then have it sit and collect dust on spotify.” Listen and decide for yourself.
