Night Slugs stalwarts rework Ballads tracks.

After a stream of releases from the label’s harder-edged Club Constructions series this year, Night Slugs has announced that co-founder L-Vis 1990 will release a two-track remix 12″ on its White Label series next month.

Both tracks are taken from his recent Ballads EP, with L-Vis himself providing a VIP version of ‘Ballad 4D’ on the A-side, described by the label as a drastically stripped back version of the track based around “chopped, shuffling jungle percussion”. Along with that comes fellow Night Slug producer Helix’s bootleg of ‘Not Mad’, billed as a “skeletal, grimey predator”.

L-Vis 1990 delivered one hell of a FACT mix earlier this year, packed with unreleased goodies from Egyptrixx, Jam City and the like. [via Juno Plus]

NSWL017 will appear on 12″ on December 3.
