Incognito producer Route 94 has had a crack at Katy B‘s ‘5AM’.

Whoever they may be, the anonymous house producer has remained a going concern over the last year, getting regular reps from Skream and putting out the Fly 4 Life EP on his/her own Route 94 imprint.

Next up is a pressure-cooker version of Katy B’s ‘5AM’, plucked from her forthcoming sophomore LP Little Red. It’s more of a touch-up than an overhaul – tauter and choppier than Geeneus’ version, but still firmly anchored in the original.

‘5AM’ is due on November 4.
