Promising grime label Coyote Records will start 2014 with a new EP from Spare.

Spare appeared on Coyote’s end-of-2013 comp Coyote Kings, and his full debut for the label reveals him a bit of a sweetboy: ‘Glide’ is a love song somewhere between chiptune-y electronica and Gliding Squares (hence, we suppose, the title). ‘Venom’, meanwhile, recalls Strict Face’s minimal swamp-wading, while ‘Boss Hog’ is the closest thing to an all-out banger here.

Coyote will release Spare’s 1BLT EP in March.
