Japanese fan hand draws covers on burnt CDRs, posts results to Tumblr.

Everyone’s done it at some point or another, bored in class with only a pen and paper at hand you end up doodling things. Well Japanese music fan SHOW5SAN has taken that timeless idea and turned it into the Handrawing$$$$$hit! blog.

Prefaced with the Japanese word for handwriting and the note ‘personal copy only’ – which we assume is his way of saying he’s doing these for himself only – the blog is full of pretty amazing renditions of classic album covers, with a lot of rap but also jazz, rock and more. Even better it looks like SHOW5SAN has also done cassette covers and framed renditions of classic The Source magazine covers.
