Folk musician Beverley Martin has let out a previously unheard collaboration with Nick Drake, started just months before the singer died.

Speaking to The Independent, Martyn explains that they wrote the lyrics together in Martin’s Hastings home. It remained unfinished until last here, when she decided to complete it for her new album The Phoenix And The Turtle.

“I couldn’t even think about the song for so long”, says Martin, “because it brought up so much pain. It took a while to finish after that point.”
