Listen to Chicago rapper KIT's anxious 'Rise', produced by Supreme Cuts

The Chicago outsiders have teamed up for an album of gloom-and-doom rap.

On May 27, KIT will follow-up last year’s NewWavey with Lownt God Rising. While NewWavey was executive produced by The-Drum’s Jeremiah Meece, KIT’s new full-length effort was produced by and with fellow Chicagoans Supreme Cuts.

The first cut off Lownt God Rising is ‘Rise’, an Eastern-tinged rumbler that finds KIT both confrontational and contemplative; stream the track below.

FACT TV caught up with KIT at SXSW. For a hint at what to expect from Lownt God Rising, check out Supreme Cuts’ one-of-a-kind FACT mix, where they snuck in a few of the album’s instrumentals.
