The Yours Truly series connects three rising talents.

First reported last month, the Yours Truly and Adidas Originals Songs from Scratch series tabbed Fade to Mind siren Kelela, rising Chicago vocalist Tink and producer DJ Dahi (Drake’s ‘Worst Behavior’, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Money Trees’, SZA’s ‘Babylon’).

“I love her,” says Kelela of Tink. “She has like 14 melodic ideas in that one song! You’re hearing somebody that’s rooted in church, or very familiar with gospel. Even though I didn’t grow up in church at all, I have a visceral reaction to that.”

The trio hit Encore Studios in Burbank, CA and recorded ‘Want It’ after hours of vocal improvisation; watch footage of the process below. We’ll share the song as soon as it surfaces. Update: And here it is:
