Bruno Pronsato is Archangel on "pop, rock and post-punk" influenced album The Bedroom Slant

Berlin-based producer continues the journey begun on last year’s Metal EP.

Electronic nonpareil Bruno Pronsato has detailed his first full-length under the alias Archangel.

The Bedroom Slant draws on Pronsato’s love of pop, rock and post-punk and sees the composer step into the booth for the first time to contribute his own vocals. According to the label, the LP filters his experimental approach to dance music through “the one time romance he had with the radio”.

Propelled by bass guitar lines provided by his brother David Ford, the album also features collaborations with avant-garde disco veteran and multi-instrumentalist Peter Gordon, double bassist Yonatan Levi, pianist David A. Powers and Caro, AKA Randy Jones, boss of Orac Records. It was written, produced, recorded and mixed by Pronsato during “early morning sessions” in the Prenzlauer Berg studio he shares with Benoit & Sergio.

The album is out on June 2 though London label Foom Music. Check out the floaty cosmic disco vibes of lead track ‘Steal The Groom’, featuring Peter Gordon and Caro.
