A series about female voices in hip-hop, from the makers of TI and Tiny.

Sisters of Hip Hop is a “docu-series” (read: “reality show”) focused on up-and-coming female rappers: Missy Elliott-cosigned Brianna Perry, ex-Crime Mob member Diamond, buzzy Queens MC Nyemiah Supreme, and newcomers Bia and Siya. The show premieres on August 12 on Oxygen (the network co-founded by Oprah), with a preview special on July 22.

“The talented artists featured in Sisterhood of Hip Hop are vibrant characters that will resonate with Oxygen’s young, female viewers,” said Oxygen’s Rod Aissa. “The optimistic and empowering nature of the show is truly unique and we look forward to rooting for each woman’s success and giving fans the opportunity to follow along on their journey.”

Executive produced by T.I., the show will features appearances by hip-hop veterans Eve, Lil Jon, Travie McCoy, Rick Ross, Tank, and Irv Gotti, among others.
