Le1f producer Neuport drops sinister Lil Tobacco EP with interactive visual environments

Explore Bushwick with the Brooklyn-based producer/DJ.

Over the last year or so, we’ve seen Neuport‘s Newport-inspired art around the net: he’s produced for Le1f and remixed The-Drum, and he’s currently working with underground faves The GTW, Cakes Da Killa, Dre Green, Abdu Ali and more.

His latest project, the Lil Tobacco EP, combines three frantic, juked-out club tracks. ‘SLOMO’ and ‘&UKNOWESMOKINLOUD’ sample Dorrough’s DJ Mustard-produced jam ‘After Party’ and ‘Drugs In Da Club’, respectively. Standout ‘FMF’ is a sinister nightcrawler that samples Coco Brown’s ‘Fuck My Face’ — with predictably raunchy results.

For the EP, Neuport teamed with Auda Records online studio space to.be to craft an interactive environment based on iPhone photos of his Bushwick neighborhood. Click around to buy the T-shirts that his avatar is wearing; he designed them himself. Check out the three environments (here, here and here) and stream/download the EP below.
