We do like a good bit of ambient music here at FACT HQ.

Tomorrow Was the Golden Age is the latest record to emerge from New York-based ensemble Bing & Ruth, a group of seven players led by pianist David Moore. Moore’s sublime melodies are the anchor for Tomorrow Was the Golden Age, but it’s certainly a team effort, teeming with life from a glorious selection of sounds – clarinet, cello, bass and effects.

RVNG Intl boss Matt Werth actually stopped by FACT’s weekly radio show last Friday to play a selection from the album and it totally stopped us in our tracks. Now you can hear an isolated excerpt below, the sublime ‘The Town We Love is Our Town’.

Tomorrow Was the Golden Age will be released on October 14, on double LP, CD and digital formats via RVNG Intl.
