Donato Dozzy – he of approximately umpteen dubby analogue techno releases – has announced another promising collaboration.

Much of the Italian veteran’s best work has been produced alongside other artists: his 2012 Voices From The Lake LP with Neel won blanket acclaim, and Spectrum Spools’ reissue of his late-’00s Aquaplano material with Nuel remains one of 2014’s best dance reissues.

Add another collaboration to that list: Dozzy has just announced a new series of collaborative 12”s with fellow dub-techno traveler Marco Shuttle. Trading as Anxur, the two Italians will release a series of 12”s of coiling techno with a “dark and hypnotic edge” on Shuttle’s own Eerie imprint. The first disc, The Anxur Takes Vol. 1, will arrive on September 20, and offers weightless 4×4 with some vintage Radiophonic touches.
