Paula Temple continues her techno renaissance with Deathvox EP on R&S – stream the blinding 'Ful'

The Berlin expat takes a melodic detour with awesome results.

UK techno brainiac Paula Temple resurrected her dormant production career last year with her Colonized EP for R&S, released a full 11 years after her debut EP on Materials. Fed up of the music industry, in the intervening years she’d gone off to mentor young people in music production and become an Ableton teacher, as she explained in a wise interview with RBMA this year.

Her return couldn’t have been better timed, though, with DJs like Perc bringing about a revival of steely and uncompromising techno that’s the backbone of Temple’s sound. Now back on R&S for another EP, this time round the Lancashire-born producer is exploring more emotive, even melodic realms that recall the heavier end of the Border Community stable. Check out the first track, ‘Ful’, in the player below – tracklist is underneath.

Deathvox EP is out on R&S on October 28 on 12″ and digitally.

Tracklist:

A1. Deathvox
A2. Monstro
