The Chilean producer will commence a four-part series of records this month.
Matias Aguayo’s Cómeme imprint describes El Rudo Del House as “an imaginary creature who speaks to you with a pitched-down voice and produces heavy house rhythms.” The so-called “spirit” was the creative force behind four EPs that the Cologne-raised artist will unleash on his imprint throughout the year.
According to Cómeme, the El Rudo Del House series will be comprised of four 12-inches that occupy stylistic territory somewhere in between Aguayo’s 2013 LP The Visitor and last year’s Legende album for Kompakt.
Each entry into the series will house four tracks, alongside locked grooves containing “field recordings from Aguayo’s Rudo adventures” and an El Rudo mask.
El Rudo Del House – Round One will arrive via Cómeme on March 16. The additional three EPs are scheduled to arrive in April, May and June. [via Resident Advisor]
