Is this thing on?

Belgium’s Tomorrowland has played host to the good, the bad and the ugly of the phenomenon we call EDM in recent years, but for its 2015 edition the organisers have decided to bring back some old-school quality by launching a vinyl-only stage.

The stage will operate on the Saturday of the weekender led by a man who’s certainly got the skills in that department, techno daddy Sven Väth. He’ll bring along his Cocoon crew to show us how it’s done.

Tomorrowland also recently announced the National Orchestra of Belgium as its first artist, so this year’s festival looks set to be a departure from the usual EDM onslaught. Last year’s line-up included Afrojack, Steve Aoki and Above & Beyond as well as the likes of Erol Alkan, Jamie Jones and Green Velvet.
