Bok Bok teams with Sweyn Jupiter for neon ‘Papaya Lipgloss’ single — stream the “Club Mix”

The latest from the Night Slugs co-founder.

Bok Bok has teamed with composer/keyboardist Sweyn Jupiter for a double A-side single, ‘Papaya Lipgloss’. Described as “a song about young love,” both mixes share a motif that is “skeletal, yet startlingly sincere.”

The sensual “Club Mix” fuses synesthetic keyboards, glossy electro-funk and touches of Baltimore club (via a kick pattern and that ubiquitous “What” sample), while the “Sour Mix” is described as “an opulent bedroom jam.”

Stream the former below. ‘Papya Lipgloss’ is due out on March 17 via Night Slugs.

Update: you can now stream the Sour Mix below.
