UNO NYC regular Gobby has self-released an album under the alias Monkeybone. As its title suggests, The Roommate is about a “horrible roommate,” charting the relationship from ‘He Moves In’ and ‘GF: Extra Keys’ to ‘His Party Mess’ and ‘The Lost Charger Fight’.

The New York producer tells Resident Advisor that the project will be for “techno and ‘experimental’—whatever you want to call noisy techno.” (A description that fits parts of his whacked-out Gobby oeuvre, as well).
