For the past two years, Jay Shells has been rolling out Rap Quotes, an entertaining and educational rap-related art project. Rap Quotes sees the artist take to the streets of various cities – including NYC, Los Angeles and Philadelphia – to hang up quotes from rap songs in site specific locations that people can then discover. And now he’s hit up Atlanta.

As always, the artist was accompanied by Animal who filmed a short documentary of their Atlanta escapade including screwing quotes beneath the signs of various strip clubs and pulling up outside private residences in the city’s suburbs.

A fun and instructive look into the physical spaces immortalised by rap music.
