Novation adds better visual feedback to its classic grid controller.

Novation has just announced a new version of its popular Launchpad MIDI controller, adding RGB colour feedback that allows its buttons to display a much wider variety of colours.

The new model is an update of the core Launchpad model, which was last refreshed back in 2013 as the Launchpad S. It follows the introduction of the Launchpad Pro back in January, but unlike that model, this new version of the basic Launchpad doesn’t have velocity sensitive buttons.

The original Novation Launchpad was released back in 2009, and its affordability has turned it into one of the most popular grid-based controllers on the market. You can check the new version out in the video below.
