It works out as $1.40 a record.

If you’re looking to build up your record collection in a hurry, then a Craigslist seller in Dunkirk, NY might have the answer – so long as you have the cash.

He’s selling the entirety of his late father’s vinyl collection in one job lot – that’s 250,000 records for the whopping sum of $350,000. The seller estimates that 160,000 records in the collection are 45s with the rest being 12″s and LPs, all in “good to vg to mint” condition.

If you’re interested, you’re going to be taking a bit of a risk on the content of the collection – the seller has no idea what he’s getting rid of. “I can’t really say what’s in here but everything you can probably think of. Colored vinyl, etc,” he writes.

He wants to sell the entire collection in one go, and will not be responsible for shipping any of the records. If you’re feeling brave or stupid, you can find out more at Craigslist. [via The Vinyl Factory]
