In case you didn’t already know, the Scots do raving better than anyone.

Yesterday (July 9) saw the opening of the T in the Park festival, famous for, among other things, the legendary Slam Tent – arguably the country’s most important dance music institution outside of Glasgow’s Sub Club.

Glasgow techno duo Slam have been curating the stage for 18 years, but it’s more popular than ever – when the gates opened yesterday, the eager ravers stormed in and took the tent from empty to full-on rave in 30 seconds. Beat that Glastonbury.
