Honey Soundsystem relaunch label with a pair of new EPs

The San Fran collective will deliver two new releases next month.

Honey Soundsystem is a San Francisco-based DJ crew comprised of Jason Kendig, P-Play aka Jackie House, Robot Hustle aka Beziér and Dark Entries boss Josh Cheon. In addition to running raucous parties in the San Francisco Bay Area, Honey Soundsystem also holds residencies in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Honey Soundsystem will re-launch their record label next month with a new release from Robert Yang, otherwise known as Bézier. His forthcoming EP is titled 皆, which translates from Japanese to “Everyone.” It collects three cuts of analogue electro, intended to evoke a space travel narrative.

The second incoming delivery from Honey Soundsystem is a 12″ from Jackie House. The A-side is reserved for ‘Stydive’, built upon a vocal sample which “nods to punk’s past,” according to the label. San Francisco producer Matrixxman provides his own remix on the flip.
