The UK bass institution opens the archives for their 100th release.

Tempa are set to celebrate their 100th release with a double-pack of classics from the label’s back catalogue. The longstanding London label has been operating since 2000, releasing vital records during the darker days of garage and earliest moments of dubstep and continuing to push low-end sounds forward to this day.

The tracks on Tempa100 are listed in chronological order, opening with the slinky 2-step of Horsepower Productions’ ‘When You Hold Me,’ taken from Tempa 001. Pivotal tracks from Digital Mystikz, CokiSkream and Benga are also featured in the collection. The most recent cut featured is Sp:mc’s ‘Trust Nobody’, originally issued in 2008.

Tempa100 will be limited to 500 copies and will be available on September 18. [via RA]
