Tongue Dancer ’85 is out on Editions Mego next month.

Noise artist Russell Haswell will return to Editions Mego next month with a one-track 12″ titled Tongue Dancer ’85, Juno Plus reports.

According to the label, the 11-minute composition has its origins in a performance Haswell gave at Stockholm’s Elektronmusikstudion (EMS) as part of a six-day residency earlier this year.

The label has given little information regarding the track apart from the equipment used, though given the name we’d expect something along the lines of Haswell’s dancefloor deconstructions for Diagonal last year.

The 12″ will be released on September 18. There’s no audio as yet, but in the meantime you can revisit Haswell’s FACT mix below.
