The double-vinyl version of the 2014 CD-R includes previously unheard material.

Deepchord’s echospace [detroit] label will press Phase90’s Infinitati to vinyl in late September. Phase90 is the solo project of Stephen Hitchell, known for his work as Soultek, Intrusion and Variant and also as a member of dub techno outfits Echospace and cv313.

His Infinitati album was originally issued as an extremely limited CD-R last year. The Motor City imprint says it was “deeply inspired by the possessive quality of supernatural textures, field recordings and found sounds conducted at the Calvary Cemetery.”

The new vinyl version was remastered by Bazza at Abbey Road studios and features the silkscreened art of Firecracker Recordings boss Lindsay Todd. The label warns that the sinister dub techno contained on the LP is not for the faint of heart. According to the press release, “the material on this album can be interpreted as sinistral—dark, heavy due to the hardware and its currencies emitted by its source–the phase 90.”
