Paul Woolford looks set to release a trio of EPs under his Special Request alias this Friday.

The surprise release has been announced via an opaque website, modernwarfare.org.uk, which contains XL Records catalogue numbers for three releases and a release date of September 18. There’s also a link to a Google Street View showing Codrington Mews, the West London office where XL Records is based.

Another page contains a scrolling code which we’ve yet to decipher – very Boards of Canada-esque. Woolford first hinted at the release during an appearance on Toddla T’s Radio 1 show last month, calling it an “album-length” project.

The new releases follow Woolford’s latest 12″, the floor-friendly ‘Orbit/MDMA’, and two years after his jungle-inspired debut album as Special Request.
