Asif Kapadia’s record-breaking documentary about the life of Amy Winehouse drew on a vast archive of intimate footage – not all of which made the final cut.

Ahead of the DVD release of Amy on November 2, the filmmakers have released a previously unseen clip which captures Winehouse and her manager and friend Nick Shymansky on a trip to New York in the early days of her fame, with the singer showing off her talent for accents.
