Sean Combs’s real-life assistant is the inspiration for a new comedy series in development with ABC.

With the working title The Hustle, the show is a “single-camera” comedy (like Modern Family and 30 Rock) inspired by the story of Diddy’s right-hand woman, Sarah Snedeker.

The main character is “a small-town girl who lands a job working as an assistant to a street-educated billionaire business mogul where she is instantly thrown into a foreign world of extravagance, debauchery and adventure.”

The show is being directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Wedding Ringer) and written by Stacey Harman (The Goldbergs). Snedeker will serve as a producer and consultant, with Diddy getting an executive producer credit.

Diddy was recently credited as co-executive producer on the feature film Dope, which featured an appearance from A$AP Rocky. He’s also had some scrapes with the law this year, escaping felony charges after an alleged kettlebell attack on his son’s football coach. [via Deadline]
