The venue is situated in a disused school’s bike storage area.

The people behind Amsterdam’s much-missed Trouw club are a step closer to returning with their new venture, Mixmag reports.

Though news of the club – situated in the grounds of a disused school – was rumoured earlier this year, an official statement shows that the city’s mayor has recommended the plans, with staff hoping to open the club by December 2015.

According to the report, the club will be situated in the school’s bicycle storage area and will be called “De School”. Like Trouw, the club will have operate for no more than five years under a temporary license, but will only have a capacity of 500.

Trouw bowed out in December 2014 with an epic 35-hour closing party, where Seth Troxler had to shutdown a guestlist blagger over the phone.
