Craig David and Big Narstie unite on ‘When The Bassline Drops’

We knew this collaboration was coming.

Craig David and Big Narstie – both MC legends in their own special way – met for the first time last month when they were guests on a Kurupt FM takeover of Mistajam’s 1Xtra show, and headed into the studio soon after. The result, ‘When The Bassline Drops’, had its first play on Mistajam’s BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra show at the weekend and we’re pleased to report it’s a sugar-coated joy, with CD doing it as only he can, and no shortage of ‘Rewind” references. The track is out soon on SpeakerBox/JEM.

Last month we sent photographer Greg Coleman to capture the action at Craig David’s TS5 night in East London.
