The Roots drummer won’t be going to see Finding Dory.

Pixar released the first trailer for Finding Dory today, the sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo. One person that definitely won’t be queuing up to see the film is Questlove of The Roots. The new trailer prompted the veteran multi-instrumentalist to tell a story about how Prince once fired him from a DJ gig, instead choosing to watch the animated film in a nightclub. [via Pitchfork]
