Beats fans will have to make do with headphones from now on.

With Apple Music being the firm focus of the tech giant’s streaming strategy since it launched in June, you be forgiven for thinking Beats Music was already dead and buried. Well, it’s not – but it soon will be.

Apple, which bought the Beats Electronics brand in 2014 for $3 billion has announced it will be shutting the doors on the Beats Music streaming service for good on November 30.

As Endgadget reports, Sonos users were emailed encouraging them to move their playlists and preferences to Apple Music in the wake of support for the service, which recently gained its own Android app.
