A break from our usual programming to give you a vital update on Blade Runner 2.

Long rumoured to be starring in the sci-fi sequel, Ryan Gosling has now confirmed his appearance in the movie alongside original star Harrison Ford.

He stayed tight-lipped on the movie itself, though: “There’s a chip in me and I’ll explode if I say anything else.”

Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Sicario) is in the director’s chair and Ridley Scott is the executive producer on the sequel, which is due to start shooting in summer 2016. [via Collider]
