The new technology lets Live users easily play together in time.
Ableton has made its new Link technology available as part of the beta version of Live 9.5.1.
The technology, announced earlier this month, lets multiple Live users connect with each other over a local network and jam together in time as easily as users of acoustic instruments.
The technology is built into Live itself, and will soon be coming to selected iOS apps including Audiobus, Loopy, Akai’s iMPC and Korg’s iElectribe.
To try it out you’ll have to sign up to the Live beta programme. You can find out how at the Ableton website.
