Chicago rappers scarce on the official soundtrack to Spike’s latest film.

Spike Lee’s musical satire Chi-Raq hits theaters on Friday, December 4, the same day that the film’s soundtrack will be available to purchase.

Along with songs by stars Nick Cannon and Jennifer Hudson, the soundtrack features R. Kelly, Tink, Sasha Go Hard, Kid Ink and more. Lacking are any of the other Chicago rappers who seem like perfect candidates for a film titled Chi-Raq, while Kevon Carter’s problematic ‘WGDB’ is included.

No word on whether or not Kanye actually lended a hand on the soundtrack, but DJ Slugo certainly didn’t. [via Fake Shore Drive]
