Chicago rapper hits milestone in fundraising effort.
Chance The Rapper took to Twitter yesterday to announce that his campaign to supply the homeless population of Chicago with winter coats has now raised over $100,000, equivalent to 1015 coats.
The initiative, titled Warmest Winter, was set up by Chance and the Empowerment Plan in December with the rapper hoping to bring water-resistant and self-heating coats that also double up as sleeping bags to those in need. [Via Complex]
You can still donate to the initiative until January 13 via the Warmest Winter website.
