Sky Ferreira is nearing completion on the follow-up to 2013’s Night Time, My Time, our second favourite album of 2013.

The singer’s second album, Masochism, will arrive in summer, she revealed to Dazed. Blaming the delay on scheduling conflicts and health issues, she told the magazine: “I refuse to put out something that isn’t honest.”

The new record is executive-produced by Kanye West collaborator Mike Dean, with former producer Ariel Rechtshaid (who we interviewed about his many collaborators in 2013?) and Kendrick Lamar producer Rahki also involved.

Sky recently duetted with Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie on the Scottish rock band’s new track ‘Where The Light Gets In’, which FACT Singles Club deemed both “buoyant” and “gross”.
