Odds slashed on Stormzy recording England’s official Euro 2016 song

The ‘Shut Up’ artist has odds of 9/1 on being the next Baddiel & Skinner.

Stormzy has become a surprise frontrunner in the race to record the England football team’s official anthem for Euro 2016.

Betfair listed the odds of the grime artist recording the song as 18/1 a few days ago, but as Dream Team reports, the odds have since been slashed to 9/1 – very close to One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, currently favourite at 9/2.

Stormzy seems as baffled as everyone else about this unexpected turn of events, but he appears to be up for it.

FACT contacted Stormzy’s representatives to verify whether he would be recording an anthem, official or otherwise, and received a “no comment.” People, you know what you need to do.
