Swizz Beatz’s son continues his work in the family business.

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys’ 5-year-old son Egypt Dean already has an impressive production credit to his name, contributing to Kendrick Lamar’s untitled, unmastered. But his prodigious beat-making skills were not just a one-off.

Over the weekend, young Egypt was back in the studio, this time tinkering with a drum pad while Q-Tip encouraged his work. He has good instincts!

So, what’s next? Is Blue Ivy going to become an accomplished modern dance choreographer in the next few months? Will North West start her own design company in a year? Whatever she does, it would certainly be better than Kanye’s I Feel Like Kobe t-shirts

Swizz has been tapped to executive produce Tate Kobang’s debut full-length. Perhaps we’ll see more work from Egypt on that album.

Watch Egypt work with Q-Tip below and revisit the Instagram Swizz unearthed from the To Pimp a Butterfly sessions after untitled was released last month.

#egybeatz & Q Tip = 。The teacher & the student pure vibes……….
