The synth wizard teases material from his latest project.

Dutch producer Legowelt (né Danny Wolfers) has announced Just A Clown On Crack, a new release from his cosmic project Occult Oriented Crime. Wolfers is so prolific that it can be tough to keep track of everything he’s releasing, but Clown On Crack is special in that it’s his first physical release under the OOC moniker.

Described as an “accumulation of twenty years of musical training and research and what effect it has on the brain”, Occult Oriented Crime certainly contains some of the producer’s spaciest ambient material, but it’s also filled with some of his most warm and hypnotic melodies.

It’s out May 11 on vinyl through Dekmantel, but you can get a feel for OOC’s foggy atmospheres now by listening to a sampler from the album and watching the eerie music video for the track ‘Japanese Trains’ below.

Track list:

01. ‘Bridge Over A Golden Duckpond’
02. ‘Japanese Trains’
03. ‘Telepatic Consultation’
04. ‘Blue Austral’
05. ‘Central Coast Drifter’
06. ‘Just A Clown On Crack’
