The power of TV compels you!

Joining the horror movie remake ranks with Tales From the Crypt is a television adaptation of The Exorcist, which has been ordered for a 2016-17 run on Fox.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will follow two “very different” men as they try to cure the same family from demonic possession. While there are no further details, one can presume it’ll be a priest and well, since it’s Fox perhaps a Republican political pundit.

The Exorcist is one of the highest-grossing films of all-time, making $441 million worldwide. It won Oscars for Best Sound Mixing and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Oscar winner Geena Davis is on board to star. Hopefully this doesn’t throw a wrench in her joining the hopeful Beetlejuice sequel.
