DOOM’s protege keeps us sated ahead of his solo debut album.

Bishop Nehru is still only 19 but his resume is more impressive than some rappers nearing their middle age, with last year’s Nehruvian Doom collaboration with MF DOOM set to be followed by a debut solo album executive-produced by Nas.

In the meantime the New Yorker has just dropped an 11-track mixtape called Magic 19, mostly self-produced and with no guest features, proving he can handle himself on his own. Note the Matrix-referencing artwork too – Nehru was two years old when that movie came out.
