The 10-year anniversary of J Dilla’s The Shining will come with a reissue of the album in a massive 7″ boxset. But before its release on BBE Records on August 26, Boiler Room has unearthed a previously unheard mixtape from the Detroit don.

Back to the Crib is a survey of “what Jay Dee had blaring out of his speakers while on the sofa or by the MPC.” The tunes range from Roberta Flack to Loose Ends, the B-52s to Grandmaster Flash. Check it out below.
