Two of the charges against Desiigner are dropped following arrest in NYC.

The District Attorney in New York City has dropped two charges against Desiigner following his arrest alongside four other people on Thursday night after a driver claimed the rapper had pointed a gun at him.

According to TMZ, police found no gun in the SUV that Desiigner was riding. As such the District Attorney felt the charge for felony possession of a loaded gun was no longer viable. The D.A also dropped an additional charge of felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, presumably in reference to the pills police found during their search of the vehicle.

The arrest came after a road rage incident in which a driver claimed Desiigner pointed a gun at him. The driver then took down the license plate information of the SUV Desiigner was riding and alerted police.

The rapper was arraigned in a New York City court this morning and released. He still faces two charges for felony possession of a controlled substance and menacing.
