The 67-year-old Screaming Eagle of Soul, Charles Bradley, has canceled his remaining 2016 tour dates after doctors discovered a cancerous tumor in his stomach. He and his band had spent the majority of the year on the road supporting Bradley’s latest album Changes.

While he has been in the music industry since the 1960s, it was not until 2011 that he found success with his breakout debut album No Time For Dreaming after the premiere of Soul of America, a documentary about Bradley that traced his Florida origins and homelessness to his eventual discovery by Daptone Records.
